    Description

    The trap offered here is a #3 size double long spring marked Belmont Steel Co.  This trap was almost certainly made by the Oneida Community for a distributor whose location remains obscure. The 02 and 07 patent dates mark production of this trap in the later 1900-1910 period. The trap is complete with strong springs, chain and ring and pan the reads fairly well with some pitting. This trap meets eBay protocol that permits traps with jaw spread less than 5 1/2 inches.
